Wine tasting in Porto

Porto is located in a famous wine producing area. You have probably heard of Port wine, which has originally got its name from the city of Porto. In close surroundings of the city, you can find the traditional wine producing region of river Douro valley, which has also been listed as a cultural UNESCO World heritage Site. The region hosts vineyards, which are not only an interesting sight, but also a good destination for wine tasting tours.
