Mui Ne travel information and practical tips
Mui Ne enjoys a dry tropical climate with windy but warm winters, a sunny dry season from December to May, and a wet season with some rain from May to July. Weather in Mui Ne is dry and hot during the autumn months.

How to get there. As the area has no airport, traveling to Mui Ne is done by bus via Ho Chi Minh City or Nha Trang. Trains to nearby Phan Thiet are also available. Mui Ne area is stretched along one coastal road, so it is easy to navigate. Taxis and trishaws called xe om provide local transportation. Negotiate the price before getting into one. Motorbikes and bicycles are widely available for rent, and car rental in Mui Ne can also be arranged.
Visitor services. Hotels in Mui Ne are located along the beach on the seafront side of the road. You can find a good selection of accommodations from cheap guesthouses to resort hotels and beach bungalows. Restaurants in Mui Ne serve a lot of seafood, specializing in both Vietnamese and Chinese or European cuisines. There are some bars and nightclubs in Mui Ne as well, but nightlife here is still quite modest.
Safety. Mui Ne is a fairly safe small destination with no major crime problems besides possible scams, pickpockets and few opportunistic thieves. Take good care of your belongings at all times, and your visit to Mui Ne will most likely be quite safe.
