Trekking in Åland

Åland is a small island group, which might not be suitable for a long trekking tour, but if you want to do hiking by short day trips in the middle of forested seaside nature, you are very welcome. You should visit at least the Geta caves, which are found in the northern part of the main island, only a short trek away from the nearest road. Also worth visiting is the nearby Orrdalls Klint, which is the highest point of Åland. Although the hill is not very high, the forests and hiking trails of the Aland region offer you plenty of things to admire, from wide open seascapes to rock fields and caves. Orrdals Klint has also some picnic areas and camping places available for enjoying.
