Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, surrounded by thousands of miles of open water, Tuamotu Islands is a remote place to most of us. The two most popular islands, Rangiroa and Manihi can be reached with flights from French Polynesia's main air traffic hub, which is located in Tahiti, from which Manihi receives flights only once a day, as Rangiroa has more connections available. Tahiti's capital city, Papeete, receives flights from Tokyo, Osaka, Los Angeles, New York, Auckland, Sydney Paris and Santiago De Chile.
