Surfing in Cape Verde

Located 500 km off the African west coast, Cape Verde meets the winds of the Atlantic Ocean. The islands offer astonishing surroundings for surfing, with big waves and lovely beaches found all around the islands. Cape Verde is a suitable place for surfing and kite surfing, as well as for windsurfing. The surfing sport is new in the islands, and better services are being built around it. At present the best services for equipment rental and guiding are found in the island of Sal.
