Shopping in Åland
Although you can find some souvenir shops also in surroundings of the most popular travel sights of the islands, shopping in Åland is concentrated in the capital city of the islands, Mariehamn. This small seaside town has a pedestrianized center, where you can find interesting small shops selling you everything from local handicrafts to home decoration items and more. However, price level in Mariehamn is high, and big malls are not available. The most popular shopping street of the town is called Torggatan.
