Northern Mariana Islands is not an actual shopping destination, but there are good opportunities for tax free shopping in its small shops. Wood carvings and coconut products, among others, are popular souvenirs from the Northern Mariana Islands. Due to the remote location the prices are, however, relatively high. Bargaining is not common in the shops of the Northern Mariana Islands. International credit cards are usually accepted in the shops of the Northern Mariana Islands.
