There are numerous restaurants in Bogotá and they serve local Colombian specialties, foreign dishes and fast food. The Zona G, Zona T and Zona Rosa district has many good restaurants. The Colombian cuisine is a delicious mixture of European, North- and Latin American cuisines. Traditional Colombian dish in the Andean region is aijaco, a soup made of chicken and potatoes. Another national dish is the bandeja paisa prepared of rice, beans, beef, chorizo sausage, pork, avocado fruit and a corn based tortilla-type bread named arepa.
