There are plenty of hotels and guesthouses in Lahore, ranging from international chain hotels to cheap local hotels. There are many five-star business hotels available. The standard of the local hotels varies a lot, and the guesthouses can often be nicer alternatives to cheap hotels. There are plenty of not-so-good budget hotels in a busy area close to the main train station in Lahore. The city center, Mall and Liberty Market areas have more upscale hotels.
