Diving in Mauritius
The island of Mauritius is surrounded by coral reefs. The corals in most reefs around Mauritius are quite damaged, but there is still a good amount of marine life to be seen. Diving in Mauritius is best on the western and northern coasts around Flic-en-Flac and Trou aux Biches. Dive shops can be found in most beach resort areas. The main diving season in Mauritius is from November to April. The island of Rodrigues has more pristine coral reefs than Mauritius and offers great diving. The island has several diving centers.
