Although Cuba is an island country, there are no regular ferry routes operating to Cuba from international locations.
For traveling around in Cuba, there are comfortable and reliable buses available, as well as trains running between the main cities. Taxis can be found in Cuban cities and resorts. Hotels in Cuba are available mostly in Cuban tourist resorts, but also in cities and around attractions throughout the country. Main roads in Cuba are generally in good condition and traffic is light except for Havana. Driving in Cuba is most often quite safe.
Safety. Cuba is a quite safe destination also with other regards, with very little violent crime around, although theft and scams are more common.
