Climbing near Bled

Enjoying the presence of Slovenias highest mountain, Triglav, which rises to the altitude of 2864 m /9396 ft, Bled is a good basecamp for climbing tours. With regard to its low height, Triglav is considered a quite difficult mountain to conquer. The climb is steep, and requires safety equipment and climbing experience especially during the winter. There are four different routes leading to the top of the mountain.
