Car rental in Cartagena

There are several car rental agencies in Cartagena. To rent a car in Cartagena you should have an international driver's license and be at least 21 years of age. Most car rental companies require a credit card. Driving in the crowded city centre is not recommended. There is an extensive and mostly well-maintained network of roads in the country. Some of the roads are, however, in poor condition and traffic accidents are not rare. Driving in the rural areas should be avoided due to the possible attacks of the guerilla groups. Driving is on the right side of the road.
