Biking in Turku



Turku is a good destination also for biking tours. Especially the coastal roads around the city offer plenty of scenic landscapes and fresh sea-air. More than that, there are plenty of well maintained roads for biking available and distances are not that huge for an ordinary biker to full fill and there are plenty of holiday villages offering you seaside accommodation in between driving. The most famous biking route, Turun Saariston Rengasreitti is 250 kilometers long, and goes through the following places along asphalted roads: Parainen, Nauvo, Korppoo, Houtskari, Iniö, Kustavi, Taivassalo, Velkua, Askainen, Merimasku, Naantali, Turku, Kaarina ja Parainen. You can easily find accommodation along the route and thus split it into shorter sections.
